It has a six rink, flat green and the game is played in accordance with EBA rules.
Opening Times
The green is open daily unless advised.
Open Night/Roll-Up - Monday evenings from 6 to 8 pm (An evening roll-up session when non-members can come along and have a go)
Roll-Ups - Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 4pm , Wednesday morningfrom 10 to 12 noon (non-members are welcome to come and give the game a try. Break for tea/coffee & biscuits), Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4pm and Saturday from 2 to 4pm.
The club currently has just under 40 members. New members are always welcome and newcomers to the game may 'have a go' before joining. Coaching is available and bowls and footwear can be borrowed from the club including children's bowls smallenough to fit comfortably into a young person's hand. Social member subscription: £25
Juniors and members in full-time education: No subscription required.
The club competes in the Bateson Mixed Triples League and the Harrogate Ladies League. When home league matches are being played, unused rinks are available for social bowling.
In addition, many friendly matches take place throughout the season against other local clubs usually played on Tuesday or Thursday evening or at the weekend.
The season usually starts mid April and carries through to mid September (dependent on the weather).
